Our first litter was in 2004. We average only 2 litters per year.

We think lower epilepsy risk is most important, with COI also given strong consideration.  We have created 17 litters since 2004, our kennel COI average is: 6.9% (17 litters, high COI: 14.1 (second highest: 11.3), Low: 2.7%, majority of litters are in the 2-8% range: 13 litters).  Pedigree Analysis is done on every litter we own or co-breed since 2010.

While health is a big part of the picture, it is not the only part, breed identity is an essential piece of the equation of a good Mudi. Breed identity includes temperament, herding instinct, ability to be trained to perform a purpose, good companion attributes, all encased in a characteristic wrapping, are also important.  

We have puppies in 10 countries around the world:

Hungary, USA, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, France, Mexico, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

We have produced 98 puppies in 17 litters, 2 litters did not have surviving puppies.

Puppies which died after placement in their new homes (most before 2 years of age): 11

Puppies with the following tests:

Orthopedic (hips, many also had elbows and patellas): 26 (all passed, none failed)

Eyes: 19 (18 passed, 1-cataracts RH litter)

Temperament: 13 (all passed, none failed)

Herding Instinct: 15 (all passed, none failed)

Show or Breeding Exam: 18 (passed BE and/or had show results, none failed)

Puppies from our kennel that have been bred: 16 (15 had viable litters)

Puppies with sports results: 16

Sports: IPO III (1-VC litter); Agility 9 (from 7 different litters); Obedience 4 (from 4 different litters); Flyball 2 (from 2 different litters); Conformation show results 11 (from 10 litters)

Health or other issues: Allergies 2 pups different litters, to medications/flea-tick spot-ons; Cataracts 1 pup, will not affect vision; Paper ear (gray related fur issue) 1; Ringtail baldness: 2 littermates

Incorrect Bite/Missing teeth/Testicles: none we are aware of
